02 · Wisdom as a gift
A gift of wisdom for every guest
We place a copy in every guest room at Narayana Center. Guests, participants, and program hosts are welcome to take it home at no cost.
One who shares this supreme teaching with devotees attains pure devotional service and ultimately returns to Me. No servant is more dear to Me.Bhagavad-gītā As It Is 18.68–69
A book in every room
A copy of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is is placed on or inside the nightstand in every room at Narayana Center. Retreat participants, independent guests, organizers, coaches, and teachers may read it during their stay and take a personal copy home free of charge.
Why this edition
We purchase and distribute the Russian edition of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is. On Russian-language pages, quotations from the Bhagavad-gītā follow this edition exclusively, without blending different translations or presenting loose retellings as quotations.
Wisdom that travels home
A program ends, but the book stays with its reader. Someone may return to it a week or a year later, turn to a meaningful chapter during a difficult season, or share a passage with family. The gift allows a relationship with spiritual knowledge to continue at home.
Why it matters in bhakti
Bhagavad-gītā As It Is 18.68–70 describes sharing this confidential knowledge and studying the dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna as devotional service and worship through one's intelligence. We create the opportunity for that encounter while leaving every reader free to choose their own path.
How contributions are used
Contributions fund print runs, delivery, and replacement copies for guest rooms. Reports will show the edition, quantity, and purchase cost. Add SEVA-SCRIPTURES to the transfer memo so that your contribution remains within this project.
